Allison Wheeler holds a B.A., cum laude, in Public Policy from the University at Albany and a J.D. from Syracuse University College of Law.
Prior to obtaining her J.D., Allison worked for the New York State Bar Association at “The Legal Project,” an organization devoted to providing free legal services to victims of domestic violence. She also worked at the New York State Attorney Generals’ Office and the New York State Comptroller’s Office of General Counsel, where she devoted much of her time to the reform of sex offender statutes in New York State.
Upon graduation from Syracuse University College of Law in 2008, she was admitted to practice in both Pennsylvania and New Jersey. Prior to joining Pond Lehocky Stern Giordano, Allison defended Workers’ Compensation actions at a leading defense firm in the Philadelphia area. She has concentrated her practice exclusively to the field of Workers’ Compensation since graduating from law school.
Allison is very active in the legal community as a member of both the Philadelphia and Pennsylvania Bar Associations, as well as Philadelphia Trial Lawyers Association and the Pennsylvania Association for Justice, of which she is Council Member for the Future Leaders Section. Allison was chosen to the 2011 Rising Stars List by the Pennsylvania Super Lawyers. Ms. Wheeler has recently co-authored articles for Pennsylvania Law Weekly on Workers’ Compensation matters.
