Stephen J. Schukraft, Jr. is a 2005 graduate of Penn State University where he majored in Communications of Arts and Sciences and minored in both Psychology and Law. Subsequently, Mr. Schukraft attended the Widener University School of Law and received his Juris Doctorate in the spring of 2008. During law school, Mr. Schukraft participated in the schools trial advocacy program, moot court program, and was an active member of the Sports and Entertainment Law Association.
While obtaining his J.D. degree, Mr. Schukraft participated in numerous legal internships, including an internship at the Delaware County Public Defender’s office, allowing him to gain valuable experience with trial preparation. Additionally, following his second year at Widener, Mr. Schukraft had the opportunity to clerk for the Honorable James F. Nilon, Jr. in the Delaware County Court of Common Pleas. Throughout his last year in law school, Mr. Schukraft was an intern with the Delaware County District Attorney’s office where he handled preliminary hearing for the Commonwealth and gained valuable courtroom experience.
Upon graduation from the Widener University School of Law, Mr. Schukraft was admitted to practice law in both the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania and the State of New Jersey. Prior to joining Pond Lehocky Stern Giordano, Mr. Schukraft worked for two years at a leading Workers’ Compensation defense firm in the Philadelphia area. He has concentrated his practice exclusively to the field of Workers’ Compensation since graduating from law school in 2008. He was recently selected to the 2012 Super Lawyers® Rising Stars list.
