Retaliatory Discharge Following a Workers’ Comp Claim

On Tuesday, January 27, 2015, Partner Sam Pond and Associate Andrew Ruder’s latest article, “Retaliatory Discharge Following a Workers’ Comp Claim,” was published in Pennsylvania Law Weekly. There is a growing trend of employers either threatening or discharging employees in retaliation for requesting workers’ compensation benefits, which directly violates the humanitarian framework of the Workers’ Compensation Act.
