Pond Lehocky Attorney Ryan Scanlon Certified as Workers’ Compensation Specialist

Associate Ryan M. Scanlon is the newest Pond Lehocky attorney to be certified as a legal specialist in workers’ compensation law. The certification was administered by the Pennsylvania Bar Association’s Section on Workers’ Compensation Law as authorized by the Pennsylvania Supreme Court. The certification process requires a formal examination and evaluates numerous aspects of an attorney’s practice such as dedication to workers’ compensation and years of experience.

Ryan joined Pond Lehocky in 2014, and works at our Wilkes-Barre/ Scranton office serving workers’ compensation clients in the surrounding area. Before he joined the firm, Ryan worked as an associate workers’ compensation attorney at a regional defense firm. He earned his undergraduate degree in finance from Fairfield University and his law degree from the University of Pittsburgh School of Law.

Founded in 1895, the Pennsylvania Bar Association strives to promote justice, professional excellence and respect for the law, through improving public understanding of the legal system, facilitating access to legal services, and serving the 27,000 lawyers who are members of the association.
