Pond Lehocky Giordano Celebrates Another Year of Helping American Workers

Pond Lehocky Giordano is proud to celebrate its anniversary this month, marking over a decade of representing tens of thousands of injured and disabled workers across the country. The Firm prides itself its client first philosophy and zealous advocacy on behalf of injured and disabled workers, all stemming from the mindset of the founding partners — Samuel H. PondJerry M. Lehocky, and Thomas J. Giordano, Jr

“We just celebrated our 11th anniversary on July 1 here at Pond Lehocky Giordano. It’s been a heck of a journey. I wouldn’t change anything for the world. All of the joys, challenges and growth has just been so rewarding,” Samuel H. Pond shares. “I always go back to our law firm being a ship that is here to serve. I go to the movie Master and Commander where the HMS Surprise was there to serve the citizens of Britain and we are here to serve our clients and we’ve never lost focus of that.”

Pond is the founding and managing partner of Pond Lehocky Giordano, the largest workers’ compensation and disability law firms in Pennsylvania. A former President of the Philadelphia Trial Lawyers Association, he served for six years as treasurer of that organization’s Committee for a Better Tomorrow. He has previously served in leadership roles for numerous organizations, including chair of the Philadelphia Bar Association’s Workers’ Compensation Section and member of the Pennsylvania Board of Law Examiners.

“Make sure that no matter what you do, it all comes down to each individual client in providing them the best results. If you do that well and always show fearlessness and belief, and if you always believe and are fearless, you will weather any storm or any challenge,” Pond advises. “Thank you for the memories and all of the support. Here is to making many more memories and changing many more lives.”

Lehocky is a founding partner of Pond Lehocky Giordano. A 1985 graduate of Temple University School of Law, he has been a litigator of workers’ compensation and Social Security disability since being admitted to practice. Initially, he represented employers and insurance companies. However, since 1991, he has represented claimants exclusively. He is currently serving a three-year term as a member of the Disciplinary Board of the Pennsylvania Supreme Court. He is also a former president of the Pennsylvania Association for Justice, the first workers’ compensation attorney to hold that position.

Giordano is a founding partner of Pond Lehocky Giordano and has dedicated his career to assisting injured workers and disabled Americans. He currently assists in running the day-to-day legal operations of Pond Lehocky Giordano while simultaneously leading Pond Lehocky Disability, the firm’s nationwide Social Security Disability practice. A graduate of Rutgers University School of Law – Camden, Giordano currently serves on the Board of Directors for the Philadelphia Trial Lawyers Association, the Pennsylvania Association for Justice, Kids Chance PA and the Justinian Society of Philadelphia. Giordano is the past chair of the Social Security Disability Committee of the American Association for Justice and co-chair of the Social Security Disability section of the Philadelphia Bar Association.
