Layoffs are taking a toll on union workers

The last three months have been a challenge for our community as the pandemic continues to take a toll on many Americans across the county, including here in Pennsylvania. We were informed earlier this month that the Pennsylvania Turnpike Authority voted to lay off 500 toll collectors as part of a move to transition to a fully cashless toll system. We are saddened to hear that many of our union brothers and sisters will be let go.

At Pond Lehocky, unions run in our blood, with many of the attorney’s coming from union roots. It is personal.

If you are affected by this layoff, Pond Lehocky wants to help. You may be entitled to a reinstatement of your workers’ compensation. Contact us today for a free consultation about your legal rights.
