Pond Lehocky featured on NBC10 news for providing free lunch to Temple University Hospital Nurses

Pond Lehocky was featured once again on NBC10 News, this time for donating and delivering hundreds of meals to frontline workers at hospitals during Women’s Health Week. The law firm helped more than 250 hospital workers at Temple University Hospital, one of the largest Philadelphia area hospitals overrun with Covid-19 patients, celebrate the national week with wraps, sandwiches, and chips from Paganos, a local Philadelphia restaurant that partners with Pond Lehocky on their community initiatives.

Most health care workers and those working in the public sector identify as women, according to data from U.S. Census Bureau.

This donation comes one week after the law firm delivered 200 lunches to hospital workers at Thomas Jefferson University Hospital and University of Pennsylvania Hospital. Many of Pond Lehocky’s clients are hard-working Americans who are battling COVID-19 on the front lines.

“A well-deserved lunch for health care workers,” NBC 10 said.

Pond Lehocky is dedicated to volunteering throughout the COVID-19 pandemic. The firm engrains the importance of community into its culture and employees, and is committed to supporting local businesses, beyond the legal process. In addition to delivering meals to health care workers, Pond Lehocky will continue to serve the community amid COVID-19 through various volunteer initiatives with nonprofit organizations such as Philadelphia’s Share Food Program.
