Pond Lehocky managing partner Sam Pond hosted a Facebook Live with Sean C. Flaherty, Esq.

Pond Lehocky Giordano’s managing partner Sam Pond hosted the firm’s ninth live Facebook Q&A with Sean C. Flaherty, managing partner of the New England based law firm, Keches Law Group. The Q&A can be viewed in entirety here: https://www.facebook.com/PondLehocky/videos/278383419874581/

Throughout the 40-minute conversation, Pond and Flaherty discussed legislation making Covid-19 a presumed work injury for frontline workers, the changing landscape of the legal industry during the pandemic, returning to the office, and how the court system has pivoted.

We may never get back to working with a lot of people in an epicenter,” Flaherty shared. “For me, I like to see my staff every day. There is a certain amount of being together that helps build a team, that said, we could keep working from home. We have a long-standing history of doing what we think is right for our clients. We’ve been lucky that because of great leadership, we’ve been able to have multiple generations of attorney’s come in.”

Pond is a founding partner of Pond Lehocky, a nationally recognized injury and disability law firm headquartered in Philadelphia. A former President of the Philadelphia Trial Lawyers Association, he served for six years as treasurer of that organization’s Committee for a Better Tomorrow. He has previously served in leadership roles for numerous organizations, including chair of the Philadelphia Bar Association’s Workers’ Compensation Section and member of the Pennsylvania Board of Law Examiners.

Flaherty joined Keches Law Group, P.C. in 2004 with a background in the construction industry. He is a former member of the Local 7 Steel and Ironworkers Union. Sean represents injured workers in all phases of workers’ compensation litigation including Conciliations, Conferences and Hearings before Administrative Law Judges at the Department of Industrial Accidents. He also handles Social Security Disability claims, as well as cases involving employment discrimination, sexual harassment and wrongful termination.

Flaherty received his bachelor’s degree summa cum laude from Quinnipiac University. While at Quinnipiac University, he was named to the Phi Beta Kappa International Honor Society. He earned his law degree from New England School of Law and is admitted to practice law in Massachusetts.
