Michelle Black is an associate attorney at Pond Lehocky Stern Giordano, concentrating her practice on representing claimants in Social Security disability matters.
She earned her law degree from Widener University Delaware Law School in 2018 and received her bachelor’s degree in English literature from Stockton University.
Ms. Black joined Pond Lehocky during her third year of law school as an intern, working on case development, legal research and brief writing. She remained with the firm after graduation as a legal claims developer.
While in law school, Ms. Black also worked as a judicial extern for the Honorable Pamela Pryor Dembe in the Philadelphia County Court of Common Pleas – Criminal Division. In that role, she conducted legal research and drafted several judicial opinions.
Ms. Black is actively involved in the Philadelphia and Atlantic County communities, supporting organizations including Big Brothers Big Sisters, Special Olympics and Faces 4 Autism.
