In his latest article published in The Legal Intelligencer, workers’ compensation Attorney Andrew Ruder discusses the different values related to specific loss benefits. He explained that under the Workers’ Compensation Act, the amount someone receives for the loss of a certain body part – a hand for example – may vary. Andrew explores the question of whether or not the Pennsylvania Workers’ Compensation Act discriminates against lower wage earners with respect to specific loss benefits.
