Partner Tom Giordano, Jr. to Co-Chair Philadelphia Bar Association Social Security Committee

Partner Tom Giordano, Jr. was recently appointed as Co-Chair of the Philadelphia Bar Association Social Security Committee by the Association Chancellor, Deborah Gross.  Tom will be serving as Co-Chair of the Committee alongside Marjorie Portnoy, Esq. and Adam Taylor, Esq.


As Co-Chair of the Social Security Committee, Tom will assist with monitoring current news and regulations relating to Social Security disability law practice, and in making recommendations to the Board to uphold just and fair practice regarding individuals represented in claims filed with the Social Security Administration.

 

“I am honored to serve as a Co-Chair for the Philadelphia Bar Association Social Security Committee,” said Tom. “As an attorney who is privileged to be representing disabled Americans in their Social Security disability claims, I want to ensure that we at Pond Lehocky Stern Giordano are always staying abreast of the important issues, changes in regulations and pending legislation in areas that affect our clients.   Being appointed to the Social Security Committee will also ensure that I am using my voice to protect our most vulnerable citizens where I can – in the law.”

 

Mr. Giordano is currently serving on the Social Security Disability Law Leadership board of the American Association for Justice and on the Board of Directors for the Epilepsy Foundation of Eastern Pennsylvania.  He is also a member of multiple organizations including: The National Organization of Social Security Claimant’s Representative (NOSSCR), The National Association of Disability Representatives (NADR), The Pennsylvania and Philadelphia Bar Associations, The Pennsylvania and Philadelphia Trial Lawyers Associations, The Public Justice, The Justinian Society, and The National Advocates Top 100 Lawyers.
