PhilaPOSH honors lost lives at annual Workers’ Memorial Day Breakfast

On Friday, April 24, 2015, the Philadelphia Area Project on Occupational Safety and Health (PhilaPOSH) held its 27th Annual Workers’ Memorial Day Breakfast and Memorial Service at the Sheet Metal Workers Hall in South Philadelphia. The event included a ceremonial reading of the names of workers who have passed away in 2014 and 2015 because of work-related injuries and illnesses. Flowers were cast into the Delaware River to memorialize the deceased.  Pond Lehocky’s attorneys and staff members sponsored the event to pay their respects to the workers they strive to protect every day.

PhilaPOSH strives to prevent injuries, disease and death on the job through information, education and political action.
