Partner Sam Pond and Associate Andrew Ruder co-authored, “The Great Tradeoff in Workers’ Compensation Benefits,” an article published in the September 30th edition of PA Law Weekly. The article discusses that while the Pennsylvania Workers’ Compensation Act provides benefits for workers during the course of their injury, it does not fully live up to its humanitarian purpose. The article contends that judges must take into account the original intent of the act when rendering decisions so that injured workers can have a secure future.
