$200,000 Settlement

January 27, 2014

A union electrician was electrocuted and fell from a ladder onto his back, fracturing his coccyx and lower vertebrae. He treated with the employer’s panel doctors and was unable to return to work after his injury. The employer issued a Notice of Temporary Compensation Payable, describing the injury as a contusion and strain of the back and right hip. The claimant met with Jerry M. Lehocky, Esquire in November of 2010, four months after his injury. By May of 2011, Mr. Lehocky negotiated a full settlement for $200,000.00.
