$207,500 Settlement

January 27, 2014

A sprinkler fitter, with a history of prior non-work related knee problems, injured both of his knees while working on a project site. He underwent a bilateral knee replacement and stopped working because he could no longer perform his job duties. In meeting with the client, Samuel H. Pond discovered that the injured worker was being paid an incorrect compensation rate. Mr. Pond filed a petition to increase the average weekly wage and compensation rate. The case settled for $207,500.00.
