Francis J. Smith, C.P.A., is an attorney at Pond Lehocky focusing on workers’ compensation law.

He earned his B.S. in Accounting in 2014 from the University of Scranton and M.B.A. in 2015. While at Scranton, he was a member of the University’s Business Leadership Honors Program and a Division III student-athlete on the men’s lacrosse team.

Mr. Smith began his career in the financial services sector as a Certified Public Accountant at a Big 4 accounting firm and later at a proprietary trading firm in New York City.

Mr. Smith received his J.D. from Villanova University School of Law in May 2024. Prior to joining Pond Lehocky, he began his law career in estate planning and transactional matters assisting an array of clients through complex financial considerations and interpersonal dynamics. Leveraging his diverse career experiences, Mr. Smith is committed to applying his analytical abilities and advocacy experience to help others navigate challenges.

Mr. Smith grew up in South Jersey and is a proud graduate of St. Joseph’s Prep in Philadelphia. An avid Philadelphia sports fan, and history enthusiast, Mr. Smith embraces the city’s grit and is a passionate advocate for justice. He works in Pond Lehocky’s Philly office.
