Attorney Andrew Shumlas was admitted to the Pennsylvania Bar in 2013 after attending Syracuse University College of Law, where he was an Associate and Executive editor for the Syracuse Journal of Science and Technology.

Shumlas obtained his undergraduate degrees in Political Science and Economics from The Pennsylvania State University in December 2007.

Prior to joining Pond Lehocky, Shumlas practiced workers’ compensation law, personal injury law, and Social Security Disability law at multiple Scranton-area law firms. He gained extensive experience advocating for injured workers at those firms, which will serve him greatly at Pond Lehocky.

Shumlas resides in Old Forge, PA with his wife Laura and his two daughters, Emelia and Rose. He enjoys spending time with his family and volunteering as a coach for his daughter’s sports teams, as well as his local church.
