We’re excited to announce that Marissa Terwilliger will be joining Pond Lehocky as a personal injury attorney in our Haddonfield, New Jersey office. A South Jersey native with a strong background in personal injury law, legal advocacy, and public service, Ms. Terwilliger brings both experience and passion to her role as she begins her legal career.

Ms. Terwilliger earned her J.D. from Rutgers School of Law in May 2025, following an impressive academic journey. She is admitted to practice law in Pennsylvania, with admission to the New Jersey Bar currently pending. Prior to law school, she graduated early from the University of Delaware in May 2021, earning a Bachelor of Arts in International Relations, European History, and Ancient Greek and Roman Studies.

Before and throughout law school, Ms. Terwilliger gained hands-on experience working as a Legal Assistant at a Philadelphia-based law firm, where she focused on personal injury matters. This early exposure to client advocacy and litigation support helped shape her interest in plaintiff-side practice and reinforced her commitment to serving individuals during some of the most challenging moments of their lives.

While at Rutgers Law, Ms. Terwilliger was deeply involved in both academic and extracurricular leadership. She served as a Staff Editor, Mentor, and Managing Notes Editor for the Rutgers Journal of Law and Public Policy, demonstrating her strong legal writing and analytical skills. She also held the role of President of the Cannabis Legal Association and worked closely with the Last Prisoner Project, supporting individuals incarcerated for cannabis-related offenses.

Ms. Terwilliger’s dedication to service extended beyond student organizations. As a participant in the Rutgers Medical-Legal Partnership Clinic, she assisted clients with overlapping medical and legal needs, gaining valuable experience in holistic client advocacy. Additionally, through her pro bono work with Lawyers for Good Government’s Reproductive Health Legal Assistance Project, Ms. Terwilliger provided meaningful legal support and was recognized upon graduation with the Pro Bono Publico Award for Significant Service.

An accomplished advocate, Ms. Terwilliger competed on Rutgers’ advanced mock trial team and continues to give back by volunteering as a judge for high school and undergraduate mock trial competitions.

We are excited to have Ms. Terwilliger join Pond Lehocky and look forward to the skill, dedication, and enthusiasm she brings to our clients and our team. Please join us in welcoming her to the firm.
