At Pond Lehocky Giordano, we are proud to spotlight another inspiring student as part of our first annual 25 Days of Scholarships campaign. Today, we celebrate the resilience, leadership, and ambition of Tanvi Sudheer Vaidyar, an international student from Mumbai, India, studying Finance with a minor in Fintech at Florida Atlantic University, Class of 2026.
Tanvi’s journey to higher education has been anything but conventional. When her family faced a health crisis during the COVID-19 pandemic, she made the difficult decision to return home to support her loved ones – putting her academic dreams on hold for four years. As her mother’s primary caregiver, Tanvi found herself navigating intense emotional and logistical challenges. But through this experience, she gained something equally powerful: a deep sense of resilience.
After years away, she returned to the U.S. determined to complete her education and forge a future where she could use her skills in finance to drive positive change. On campus, Tanvi has led with passion and purpose – serving as president of the Investors Association, conducting academic research, mentoring peers, and championing causes centered on women’s empowerment. She loves the phrase, “empowered women empower women,” and has made that sentiment the foundation of her goals.
To Tanvi, this $1,000 scholarship represents more than financial assistance. As an international student supporting herself, it means relief, freedom, and renewed focus. She shared that the award allows her to dedicate more energy toward professional development and community engagement – cornerstones of her mission to make finance a tool for global good.
“Winning this scholarship reminds me that even the smallest wins can carry the biggest impact,” Tanvi said. “I’m deeply grateful for this support as I continue my journey to build a better future for myself and my family.”

About the 25 Days of Scholarships
Launched in 2025, the 25 Days of Scholarships program is a nationwide initiative awarding 25 students each with a $1,000 scholarship. Open to students attending two-year colleges, four-year universities, trade schools, or other accredited programs, the campaign aims to help reduce financial barriers so that recipients can focus on what matters most: their education and their future.
Each day throughout the month, we will spotlight one deserving recipient on our website and social media channels. These students are not only academically capable but also driven by purpose, community spirit, and a desire to serve others.
