At Pond Lehocky Giordano, we are proud to continue our 25 Days of Scholarships campaign by recognizing another exceptional student who embodies the values of service, determination, and community impact. Today, we shine the spotlight on Victoria Ajasin, an Information Technology student from Upper Marlboro, Maryland.
Victoria is currently on track to graduate in 2027 from Towson University. With a strong passion for healthcare and technology, she is focused on building a career in health informatics – a field that combines data management and information systems to improve patient outcomes and healthcare efficiency.
In her scholarship video, Victoria shared how her interest in healthcare technology began at a young age. Shows like Grey’s Anatomy sparked her curiosity, but it was her real-life experiences and education that deepened her understanding of the critical need for streamlined healthcare systems. She envisions using her skillset to reduce the technological burdens on healthcare workers so they can focus more on patients and less on paperwork or system failures.
Victoria is not only a standout student academically, but also an active leader on her campus. She is a member of Women of Wisdom, an empowering program at Prince George’s Community College that fosters academic and personal growth for women of all backgrounds. The group has helped shape Victoria’s outlook and goals, reinforcing her belief in the power of support systems and mentorship. In her words, “somebody is always in your corner” – a sentiment that perfectly reflects the spirit behind this scholarship initiative.
Receiving this $1,000 scholarship represents a meaningful step in Victoria’s academic and professional journey. It will help alleviate some of the financial pressure that comes with higher education and allow her to stay focused on developing the tools and knowledge needed to make a lasting impact in healthcare.

Launched in 2025, Pond Lehocky Giordano’s 25 Days of Scholarships is a national initiative awarding $1,000 scholarships to 25 students across the country. Whether enrolled in a two-year or four-year college, trade school, or another accredited educational program, each recipient is selected not only for academic merit but for their commitment to helping others and creating positive change in their communities.
