Pond Lehocky named to ‘Best Places to Work’ list for seventh time

Pond Lehocky has been named by The Philadelphia Business Journal as one of the 2020 Best Places to Work, marking the seventh time the firm has received the honor.

Making the list is a point of pride for Pond Lehocky because the distinction is based on employee surveys. Pond Lehocky has now won the honor four straight years. The firm was named to the list previously from 2012 through 2014.

Each year, The Philadelphia Business Journal awards companies that have displayed outstanding workplace culture based on employees’ feedback, submitted via an anonymous online survey. The surveys are conducted by Quantum Workplace. Quantum’s Organizational psychology and research methodology professionals developed the survey, updating it regularly to ensure employees provide the most relevant feedback possible. The categories rated include work environment, personal growth, professional development, talent and embracing change and new ideas.

The streak of making the list is particularly satisfying given the transition to a remote workforce during the coronavirus pandemic. Pond Lehocky acted swiftly to ensure the safety of its staff, clients, and partners by transitioning to a work-from-home operation seamlessly. The culture and community, which are core values at the firm, have remained intact through constant communication, innovation, and volunteer opportunities.

“Our company culture is the lifeblood of our firm.  It is our north star.  It is what we look to and lean on when times get tough and it revolves around mindset.  Our culture has always been our pride and joy and it has grown by our team rallying together during a global crisis.  I am so proud of our staff’s resilience, dedication, and commitment during this pandemic to remain positive, focused and strong,” said Chief Human Resources Office Jennifer Heinz. “Our new normal puts everyone on an even playing field with a work-life balance.  And with many other obstacles, obligations and challenges in the way, our team continues to step up and show their commitment to the firm, our clients and each other. Our team continuously proves that when storms hit Pond Lehocky Giordano, it only unlocks our true strength.  To be awarded the Best Places to Work honor again during these unprecedented times is no small fete, and we hold this honor proudly.”
