This month, the jury members were asked whether their organizations’ use of cloud solutions. Two-thirds of the 12-member jury responded that they were using cloud-based service. Shawn Lehocky said that Pond Lehocky is using such technology and referenced the firm’s implementation of Litify, a cloud-based case management and business operations platform.
Litify’s integrated and automated capabilities are a game-changer for law firms, which often lag behind other businesses in the adoption of new technology and methods. As Shawn notes, Cloud-based SaaS products are a recent phenomenon in the legal industry.
“In the past few years, we have implemented a cloud-based product called Litify, which has transformed our entire operation,” Shawn told Tech Republic. “For the first time ever, we have seamlessly integrated all aspects of our business and now have the ability to use structured data as an asset to make quick informed decisions.”
Lehocky said the Litify’s benefits are especially evident to clients.
“There is no longer a need to have on site servers, worry about remoting in or, even worse, carrying around physical files with our clients’ entire cases printed out to court,” Shawn said. “Most importantly, our client service has increased significantly, as we now have the ability to provide the same level of service that our clients have become accustomed to in other industries, for the first time in the legal vertical.”
