Experienced Workers’ Comp Attorney Daniel E. Pierson Joins Pond Lehocky’s Pittsburgh Office

Pond Lehocky Stern Giordano welcomes experienced attorney
Daniel E. Pierson to its workers’ compensation practice. Mr. Pierson works as
an associate out of the Firm’s Pittsburgh office, helping to expand Pond
Lehocky’s reach in Western Pennsylvania.

Mr. Pierson earned his law degree from Villanova University
School of Law, graduating cum laude in 2013. Following his graduation,
he clerked for The Honorable Linda L. Lawhun of the New Jersey Superior Court
in Bridgeton.

For the next four years, he practiced workers’ compensation
law at two large regional defense firms. During that time, Mr. Pierson handled
all aspects of workers’ compensation claims from beginning to conclusion. He
has litigated claims across Pennsylvania and has extensive experience at
hearings, depositions, mediations and before the Workers’ Compensation Appeals
Board.

For Mr. Pierson, these years of defense practice have
provided him an insider perspective on how insurance companies treat injured
workers throughout the claim process. He uses this knowledge to aid workers
injured on the job.

Mr. Pierson can be reached at
dpierson(at)pondlehocky(dot)com.

Pond Lehocky Stern Giordano opened its doors in July 2010
with six attorneys and only 22 total staff members. Today, it is the largest
workers’ compensation and Social Security disability law firm in the region,
boasting 12 office locations and over 200 staff members. The Firm opened its
Pittsburgh location in 2016 and has also recently expanded into new practice
areas for workers, including employment law and long-term disability.
