Fighting hate with empathy: Pond Lehocky supports USC Shoah Foundation

Pond Lehocky Stern Giordano is not just committed to fighting for its clients, it is also dedicated to fighting against the epidemic of intolerance and ignorance that is fueling the rise of hate crimes across the country.
That’s why the Firm is supporting the USC Shoah Foundation, an organization devoted to developing “empathy, understanding and respect through testimony.”
Founded in 1994 by Steven Spielberg The USC Shoah Foundation — The Institute for Visual History and Education records interviews with victims and other witnesses of the Holocaust and other genocides to educate and spur action. According to its website, the organization has more than 55,000 video testimonies in its archive.
“If we can educate people, if we can change the mind of one person toward love instead of hate. Then, hopefully, we can prevent history from repeating itself,” Managing Partner Sam pond said.
