Pond Lehocky’s founding partner Tom Giordano hosted a live Q&A on Facebook with Dr. Scott Davidoff. Telemedicine and telehealth were the main subject of discussion. Viewers were able to get their questions in real time about receiving treatment during the pandemic, the future of telehealth, and Social Security disability 

Giordano moderated the Q&A during the 40-minute broadcast which can be viewed here 

 We’re in an unprecedented time,” Giordano opened with. “COVID-19, this pandemic, is affecting all of us and we thought it would be special to have a doctor join us today to answer some questions for our clients and followers.”  

“We’ve been doing strictly telemedicine during this time in accordance with the state and federal guidelines. It’s been a new experience for us at Mainline Spine, but it is going surprisingly well,” Dr. Davidoff shared. “The biggest difference is not being able to physically examine patients but is been a great way to keep people afloat during this time.”  

They closed their broadcast by sharing resources for patients to stay informed.  

Giordano has dedicated his career to assisting disabled Americans. He leads Pond Lehocky Disability, the firm’s nationwide Social Security and disability insurance arm. The department has represented tens of thousands of disabled individuals in all 50 states.  

Giordano has also previously served on the board of directors of the Epilepsy Foundation of Eastern Pennsylvania. A graduate of Rutgers University School of Law – Camden, Giordano currently serves as the chair of the Social Security Disability Committee of the American Association for Justice and as the co-chair of the Social Security Disability section of the Philadelphia Bar Association.  

Dr. Scott Davidoff earned his undergraduate degree from Emory University in Atlanta and his medical school degree from Temple University School of Medicine. Dr. Davidoff then completed an internal medicine internship at Hahnemann University Hospital and subsequently returned to Temple University for his residency training in Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation. After his residency, Dr. Davidoff completed a fellowship in interventional pain management/sports medicine at Orthopaedic and Spine Specialists in York, PA. 

Dr. Davidoff is currently board certified in Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation, Pain Medicine, and Sports Medicine. He is currently serving as President of the American Board of Pain Medicine.
