Pond Lehocky Giordano attorneys and staff took to the streets of Philadelphia to lend a hand to hundreds of local people in need this holiday season. On Saturday, November 17, Pond Lehocky partnered with Gibson Temple Baptist Church for a Turkey Drive to provide turkey vouchers from ShopRite and baskets full of Thanksgiving meal necessities to hundreds of families.
This is the seventh consecutive year Pond Lehocky staff and attorneys have volunteered their efforts during the holiday season. The Firm’s partners, staff and attorneys also offered free legal consultations to residents.
“Through the years, Pond Lehocky and the Gibson Temple Baptist Church have formed a strong relationship helping our community and our city,” said Elizabeth Griffin, Associate Minister and Director of Blessed to be a Blessing Food & Clothing Ministry.
Since its inception, Pond Lehocky has been dedicated to giving back to the Philadelphia community. The Turkey Drive is a highly anticipated annual holiday tradition for Pond Lehocky’s Partners, attorneys and employees, who are pleased to provide Thanksgiving dinners to the less fortunate. The law firm also educates Americans about their rights to Social Security disability insurance, workers’ compensation benefits, employment law and long-term disability.
“The holidays are a reminder to everyone about the importance of assisting those in need,” Managing Partner Sam Pond emphasized.
