Attorney Sydney Shorr Joins Pond Lehocky’s Workers’ Compensation Team

We are thrilled to welcome attorney Sydney Shorr to Pond Lehocky’s workers’ compensation team. She will work out of our Philadelphia office, protecting the rights of injured workers within the city and the surrounding areas.

Shorr is a graduate of Rutgers Law School–Camden, where she received her J.D. in 2024. During law school, she participated in the National Resource Center on Children and Families of the Incarcerated, located on the Rutgers campus, where she assisted families dealing with the impacts of the criminal justice system. She also interned at a mid-sized defense litigation firm.

Prior to her start at Pond Lehocky, Shorr worked with the Philadelphia District Attorney’s Office as an Assistant District Attorney. While there, she gained a wealth of litigation, analytical, and advocacy experience by conducting felony trials on behalf of victims and the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania. She now uses those skills to advocate for people who have been harmed in their line of work.

Shorr has a deep commitment to serving Pennsylvanians, which stems in part from her childhood spent growing up in Montgomery County. In her spare time, she loves going to yoga classes, checking out new restaurants, and spending time with family and friends.
