Ryan D. Tilley earned his BA in History, cum laude, from Washington College (MD). He was a four-year member & captain of the Men’s Rugby Team and played rugby internationally in Ireland. He then earned his law degree from the Drexel University Kline School of Law, graduating in 2016. During law school, he worked in Philadelphia for a law firm specializing in obtaining life insurance benefits for beneficiaries whose claims were unjustly denied by insurance companies. Following law school, Mr. Tilley went on to clerk for The Honorable Dennis E. Reinaker in the Lancaster County Court of Common Pleas and then served as an Assistant District Attorney for the Lancaster County District Attorney’s Office.
Before coming to Pond Lehocky Giordano, Mr. Tilley’s practice focused on workers’ compensation defense for a large regional firm. During this time, he handled all aspects of workers’ compensation claims from beginning to conclusion. He has litigated claims across the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania and has extensive experience at all levels in the Pennsylvania Workers’ Compensation system. In this role, Mr. Tilley saw first-hand how insurance companies unfairly treat injured workers throughout the claim process and gained inside knowledge on the tactics used by insurance companies to the detriment of injured workers.
In 2023, Mr. Tilley joined our firm to serve the injured workers across Pennsylvania. He dedicates his practice exclusively in the area of workers’ compensation to protect the rights of injured workers and to take on the insurance companies on behalf of injured workers.
