Kline and Specter has accepted our challenge. Will you join us and Promote the Vote?

Pond Lehocky Giordano recently challenged Philadelphia law firms to join their efforts on Elections Day and offer any staff who volunteer on November 3 a paid day off as part of our firm’s Promote the Vote initiative. Kline and Specter has been the first business to accept our challenge.

On Friday, October 2, Kline and Specter responded via ad in The Legal Intelligencer: “We have followed the example of Pond Lehocky to offer our lawyers and staff a paid day off on Election Day to do work related to the election. We encourage law firms to do so as well.”

Which firm will accept our challenge next?

As part of Pond Lehocky’s Promote the Vote initiative, we have teamed up with friends at the Pennsylvania Alliance to amplify the importance of making our community’s voice heard and vote count through The Voter Project. We’ve also partnered with Litify to promote Power the Polls, which is organized by the Civic Alliance, a non-partisan group of businesses working together to build a future where everyone participates in shaping our country.

Pond Lehocky stands up for the injured and disabled. When people are treated unfairly, we add our voice to theirs to ensure they receive justice and that our great democracy works. Right now, all our voices need to be heard. Voting is the very muscle of democracy that allows us to have a voice. It is how “We the People” make a difference in our nation.
