Pond Lehocky featured on NBC10 news for providing free lunch to local nurses on National Nurses Day

NBC10 Philadelphia, WCAU-PA, featured Pond Lehocky during their evening broadcast on May 6, National Nurses Day. The firm honored local nurses on National Nurses Day by purchasing and delivering hundreds of meals to nurses at two of the largest hospitals in Philadelphia.

Pond Lehocky partnered with Paganos, a local restaurant, to provide sandwiches, wraps and salads for nurses and healthcare workers battling the COVID-19 pandemic on the front lines. Deliveries were dropped off at University of Pennsylvania and University of Thomas Jefferson Hospitals.

“The amount of food we received from your company was nothing short of amazing at Penn Medicine,” a nurse shared with our staff. “It truly is encouraging seeing how generous people are being during this time. I just wanted to reach out and say how kind that was and how much we appreciated that.”

Pond Lehocky is dedicated to volunteering throughout the COVID-19 pandemic. The firm engrains the importance of community into its culture and employees, and is committed to supporting local businesses, beyond the legal process. In addition to delivering meals to health care workers, Pond Lehocky will continue to serve the community amid COVID-19 through various volunteer initiatives with nonprofit organizations such as Philadelphia’s Share Food Program.
