Pond Lehocky Giordano’s Founding Partners Selected as 2021 Pennsylvania Super Lawyers

Pond Lehocky Giordano Founding Partners Samuel H. PondJerry M. Lehocky, and Thomas J. Giordano Jr. have been selected to the 2021 Pennsylvania Super Lawyers® list for the eighteenth consecutive year.  The founding partners are joined by Kevin Harchar and Andrew Ruder as Super Lawyers in 2021.  

Selection to the Super Lawyers® list is based on anonymous peer evaluation a proprietary system of 12 indicators of professional achievement such as major settlements, involvement in the legal community, published writings and special certifications. 

Pond is the Founding and Managing Partner of Pond Lehocky Giordano, one of the largest workers’ compensation and disability law firms in Pennsylvania. A former President of the Philadelphia Trial Lawyers Association, he served for six years as treasurer of that organization’s Committee for a Better Tomorrow. He has previously served in leadership roles for numerous organizations, including chair of the Philadelphia Bar Association’s Workers’ Compensation Section and member of the Pennsylvania Board of Law Examiners. 

Lehocky is a Founding Partner of Pond Lehocky. A 1985 graduate of Temple University School of Law, he has been a litigator of workers’ compensation and Social Security disability since being admitted to practice. Initially, he represented employers and insurance companies. However, since 1991, he has represented claimants exclusively. He is currently serving a three-year term as a member of the Disciplinary Board of the Pennsylvania Supreme Court. He is also a former president of the Pennsylvania Association for Justice, the first workers’ compensation attorney to hold that position. 

Giordano has dedicated his career to assisting injured workers and disabled Americans. He currently assists in running the day-to-day legal operations of Pond Lehocky Giordano while simultaneously leading Pond Lehocky Disability, the firm’s nationwide Social Security and disability insurance arm.   A graduate of Rutgers University School of Law – Camden, Giordano currently serves on the Board of Directors for the Philadelphia Trial Lawyers Association, the Pennsylvania Association for Justice and Kids Chance PA.   He previously served on the board of directors of the Epilepsy Foundation of Eastern Pennsylvania and the Lupus Foundation of America – Philadelphia Tri State Chapter as well as past chair of the Social Security Disability Committee of the American Association for Justice and co-chair of the Social Security Disability section of the Philadelphia Bar Association.
