Attorney Gabriel Spooner Joins Pond Lehocky’s Costa Mesa Office

Pond Lehocky is proud to welcome Gabriel S. Spooner to the firm and announce the opening of our new California personal injury practice. He will serve as Handling Attorney – California Personal Injury. With nearly two decades of experience as a civil litigator, Mr. Spooner brings a unique perspective and extensive courtroom experience to his work representing injured individuals.

Mr. Spooner earned his bachelor’s degree from the University of Virginia, where he was a pitcher on the baseball team and a two-time recipient of the ACC Scholar-Athlete Award. He later earned his J.D. from the University of Southern California Gould School of Law.

Before joining Pond Lehocky, Mr. Spooner spent 18 years at a leading national defense firm, handling complex, high-stakes litigation through trial and appeal in state and federal courts. His practice included personal injury, products liability, toxic tort, right of publicity, business disputes and employment matters. During that time, he gained valuable insight into how corporations and insurance companies evaluate, defend and resolve claims.

Now, Mr. Spooner is bringing that experience to the plaintiff’s side. His work with Pond Lehocky focuses exclusively on advocating for injured clients, and his extensive background in defense litigation provides him with a firsthand understanding of the strategies corporations and insurers use—and how to effectively challenge them. He will be based in our new Costa Mesa, California office, along with our California Lemon Law practice.
