Pond Lehocky Giordano founding partner, Jerry M. Lehocky, will join Michael J. Parker, the head of firm’s long-term disability department, to teach courses as part of the “Law School for Physicians” workshop during the Pennsylvania Pain Society Annual Meeting on Saturday, November 7.

In his class, “Covid-19 – Workers’ Compensation and the injured Worker”, Lehocky will discuss the impact that the pandemic has on patients and their workers’ compensation cases, the changes seen in the legal world with the use of technology, and what would classify a workers’ compensation case that was a result from the coronavirus.

Parker’s portion of the workshop, “What Happens When Your Pain Patient Becomes Permanently Disabled: Navigating Disability and Social Security Compensation Claims, will touch on Social Security and long-term disability claims. Attendees will learn the standards for both kinds of claims, the process for them, and how pain specialists can assist their patients with their claims.
