Pond Lehocky Welcomes Attorney Francis Smith to Our Philly Office

The Pond Lehocky team is thrilled to welcome attorney Francis J. Smith to our workers’ compensation team. He will work out of our Philadelphia office, protecting the rights of injured workers across the state.

Smith brings a strong background in finance and accounting to his law practice to help injured workers navigate complex legal challenges. He earned a Bachelor of Science in Accounting from the University of Scranton in 2014 and an M.B.A. from the same institution in 2015. During his time at Scranton, he participated in the Business Leadership Honors Program and played Division III men’s lacrosse.

Before becoming an attorney, Smith worked as a Certified Public Accountant with a Big Four accounting firm and later at a proprietary trading firm in New York City. He earned his Juris Doctor from Villanova University School of Law in 2024. Prior to joining Pond Lehocky, he practiced in estate planning and transactional law, helping clients address complex financial and personal matters.

Drawing on his diverse professional experience, Smith is dedicated to providing thoughtful advocacy and practical guidance to clients facing difficult circumstances. A South Jersey native and graduate of St. Joseph’s Prep in Philadelphia, he is a passionate Philly sports fan, history enthusiast, and proud advocate for justice.
