Filed in:
Pond Lehocky is proud to announce that veteran workers’ compensation attorney Marla A. Joseph has joined the firm as a partner, bringing more than 30 years of experience advocating for injured workers and disabled individuals throughout Pennsylvania.
A highly respected leader in workers’ compensation, Joseph has dedicated her career to protecting the rights of injured employees and helping clients navigate some of the most challenging moments of their lives. Prior to joining Pond Lehocky, she was the principal of the Law Offices of Marla A. Joseph, LLC, where she built a reputation for exceptional client advocacy and legal excellence.
Joseph earned her Bachelor of Arts from The Pennsylvania State University and her Juris Doctor from Temple University Beasley School of Law, where she received recognition for achievement in trial advocacy. She is certified as a workers’ compensation specialist by the Pennsylvania Bar Association’s Workers’ Compensation Section, as authorized by the Pennsylvania Supreme Court—a distinction held by only a select group of attorneys in the state.
Throughout her distinguished career, Joseph has received numerous honors recognizing both her legal skill and service to the profession. Most recently, she received the Pennsylvania Bar Association Workers’ Compensation Section’s Irv Stander Award in 2025 and was inducted into the inaugural Legends of Justice Hall of Fame for her advocacy on behalf of injured workers. She was also inducted as a Fellow of the College of Workers’ Compensation Lawyers in 2022.
Her professional achievements include multiple selections by Best Lawyers in America as “Lawyer of the Year” in workers’ compensation law, recognition among Pennsylvania’s Top 50 Women Lawyers, and longstanding inclusion among Pennsylvania Super Lawyers.
In addition to her legal practice, Joseph has been a dedicated leader within the legal community. She currently serves as Co-Chair of the Montgomery County Bar Association’s Workers’ Compensation Committee and previously chaired the Pennsylvania Bar Association Workers’ Compensation Section. She is also a frequent lecturer on workers’ compensation issues and has been recognized nationally for her contributions to legal education and professionalism.
Joseph’s commitment to helping injured workers extends beyond the courtroom. She serves on the Board of Kids’ Chance of Pennsylvania and founded an annual silent auction that has raised nearly $100,000 in scholarship funding for students whose parents were killed or catastrophically injured in workplace accidents.
As Pond Lehocky continues to expand its nationwide reach and strengthen its position as a leading advocate for injured and disabled individuals, the addition of Joseph further enhances the firm’s depth of experience and commitment to client service. Her arrival reflects the firm’s ongoing investment in exceptional legal talent and its mission to deliver outstanding results for workers and families in need.
Welcome, Marla! Pond Lehocky is thrilled and honored to have you on our team.
