Pond Lehocky named one of Philly’s largest law firms

Pond Lehocky has made the Philadelphia Business Journal’s list of the largest Philadelphia law firms. The list ranks firms by the number of local attorneys.

With 31 local attorneys, Pond Lehocky came in at 56th overall. The 2020 list ranked 101 law firms with 6,292 local attorneys, including 1,805 women attorneys. The list is available here.

Published each year by the Philadelphia Business Journal, the list is compiled using data regarding the number of local attorneys, the number of local partners, the number of offices and more.

The Philadelphia Business Journal previously listed Pond Lehocky as one of the city’s top five law firms for the percentage of women attorneys. The firm employs 21 female lawyers—47 percent of the attorneys working at the firm.

The ranking shows Pond Lehocky’s impressive growth over the last several years. The firm has evolved from a single office with 22 employees to numerous offices with about 250 employees nationwide. It has become Pennsylvania’s largest workers’ compensation firm, with the most certified workers’ compensation attorneys in the state. It also boasts a national Social Security disability practice that has helped more than 35,000 clients across the country.
