Pond Lehocky is pleased to welcome Carter Davis as an associate workers’ compensation attorney in the firm’s Philadelphia office. A Philadelphia native, Davis brings a strong foundation in legal research, litigation preparation, and client advocacy, along with a longstanding commitment to serving his community.
Davis earned his bachelor’s degree in philosophy with a minor in Spanish from Franklin & Marshall College in Lancaster, Pennsylvania, graduating cum laude in 2023. During his four years at the college, he was an NCAA varsity baseball player and served on the team’s leadership council, developing the teamwork, discipline, and leadership skills that continue to shape his professional approach.
He went on to earn his Juris Doctor from Tulane University School of Law in New Orleans in 2026. While at Tulane, Davis was an active member of the Tulane Sports Law Society and participated in several pro bono initiatives focused on helping individuals and families access essential services.
Through Tulane’s Volunteer Income Tax Assistance program, Davis worked with a team to help local residents complete and submit their tax forms. He also participated in the school’s Med-Legal Partnership Program with the Tulane School of Medicine, visiting clinics and shelters alongside law and medical students to identify individuals who might benefit from free legal assistance and connect them with Southeast Louisiana Legal Services.
Davis’s relationship with Pond Lehocky began in 2024, when he joined the firm as a summer law clerk in its Philadelphia office. He continued working remotely from New Orleans throughout law school, gaining hands-on experience in mediation preparation, legal research, settlement strategy, and the drafting of legal motions and briefs. His years with the firm provided valuable insight into workers’ compensation law and the work involved in advocating for injured individuals.
After passing the Pennsylvania bar exam in October 2026, Davis joined Pond Lehocky as an associate workers’ compensation attorney.
As a Philadelphia native who has spent several years learning the practice alongside the firm’s legal team, Davis is excited to continue his career at Pond Lehocky and contribute to the firm’s mission of standing up for injured workers.
