Pond Lehocky’s Danielle Webb appears on PhillyLabor radio show

Pond Lehocky associate Danielle Webb appeared as a guest on the Feb. 3 episode of the Who’s Who in PhillyLabor radio show on WWDB-AM Talk 860. The program was hosted by Joe Dougherty Jr. and co-hosted by Mark Levithan of sponsor Weinerman Pain and Wellness.

The show was part of “The Lawyers of Pond Lehocky” series highlighting the attorneys from the 2019 Who’s Who in Injury and Injured Workers Advocacy Program Firm of the Year.

After a little bit of discussion about the previous day’s Super Bowl, Webb talked about Social Security disability law. She delved into how Social Security disability is essentially an insurance policy that workers have paid for with money withheld from their paychecks throughout their careers.

Webb then talked about what workers, particularly those who are forced to retire early because of medical conditions, should do to maximize their benefits. She also took listeners through the application, reconsideration and hearing process.

Webb joined Pond Lehocky in 2014 as an associate attorney in the Social Security disability unit. She recently moved to the firm’s workers’ compensation department. Prior to joining Pond Lehocky, she worked as an associate attorney for a national Social Security disability firm and represented disabled claimants before administrative law judges. She received her bachelor’s degree from Rowan University in 2001 and graduated from Howard University School of Law in 2005.

PhillyLabor named Pond Lehocky its Who’s Who in Injury and Injured Workers Advocacy Program Firm of the Year last August, recognizing the firm’s “exemplary representation of injured workers and disabled citizens” from across the Philadelphia area.

PhillyLabor is an independent pro-labor media platform and service provider. The organization, through its Injured Workers Advocacy Program 501(c)(3), advocates for injured workers throughout the Philadelphia-area union community. Pond Lehocky was selected for the award by the organization’s Who’s Who in Injury and Injured Workers Advocacy committee.

The committee annually recognizes top legal professionals in the Philadelphia area who have dedicated their careers to representing and advocating for injury victims and injured workers. The Law Firm of the Year award is the highest honor bestowed to members of the legal community by the committee.

In conjunction with the award, PhillyLabor is presenting a series spotlighting Pond Lehocky’s attorneys on its radio program. The program will be doing a show every first Monday of the month featuring another lawyer from the firm.
