At Pond Lehocky Giordano, we are excited to continue our 25 Days of Scholarships campaign by celebrating a student whose goals, mindset, and passion for growth reflect the very spirit of this initiative. Our next scholarship recipient is Elyse Henry, a finance major at Penn State University from Phoenixville, Pennsylvania.
Elyse is entering her junior year and preparing for an experience that will undoubtedly shape her personal and professional development – a semester abroad. Her enthusiasm for immersing herself in other cultures and gaining a global perspective is what made her submission so meaningful. She expressed how this scholarship would allow her to broaden her horizons, explore new countries, and deepen her understanding of international financial systems. For a future finance professional, these experiences are more than just educational – they’re foundational.
In her application, Elyse described how traveling and studying abroad will allow her to better connect with diverse clients and business partners in the future. By observing firsthand how individuals in different cultures approach personal finance, economic decisions, and commerce, she will return to Penn State with valuable insights and an expanded worldview.
This $1,000 scholarship will help Elyse embrace all the experiences her upcoming semester has to offer. From travel costs to cultural exploration, it gives her the chance to fully engage with everything her study abroad program makes possible.

About the 25 Days of Scholarships
Launched in 2025, Pond Lehocky Giordano’s 25 Days of Scholarships is a nationwide program awarding 25 students with $1,000 each to help them pursue their educational goals. Open to students attending two-year and four-year colleges, trade schools, and accredited programs, the initiative helps eliminate financial barriers so students can concentrate on what matters most – their education and their future.
Every day throughout the campaign, we are highlighting one recipient across our website and social media platforms. These students embody values like determination, service, and a desire to make a difference. Their stories showcase the incredible potential of education to change lives.
