Experienced public interest devotee joins Pond Lehocky as a workers’ comp attorney

Pond Lehocky welcomes Ms. Erica Shikunov as a workers’ compensation attorney. She has extensive experience serving the public through various types of law and has dedicated the majority of her career to public interest matters.

Prior to joining Pond Lehocky, Erica deepened her knowledge of workers’ compensation at two defense firms. While her experience was valuable because she was able to learn the ins and outs of workers’ compensation law, defending employers did not allow her to pursue her passion of helping those in need. Changing her focus to representing injured workers was a natural fit for Erica.

“I was born and raised in a rural farming community in Michigan,” she said. “My uncle is a union Ironworker, and I was surrounded by workers in the auto and farming industries. I come from a working family and know the devastating effects injuries can have on workers. As a lawyer, I feel drawn to help others, especially those who remind me of people from my hometown.”

Erica wants clients to know that she will fight tirelessly for their rights and ensure that they are protected.

“Pond Lehocky is full of tough litigators who go to bat for their clients’ rights,” Erica said. “I’m proud to be a part of that team and an advocate for injured workers.”
