Pond Lehocky Giordano assembles KCPA Scholarship Care Packages

Pond Lehocky Giordano is proud to partner with our friends at Kids’ Chance of Pennsylvania (KCPA) again this year to fill and send care packages to scholarship recipients as an extra boost through mid-terms and a unique first semester. Multiple Pond Lehocky volunteers assembled more than 50 packages on Wednesday, November 11, during Kids’ Chance Awareness Week.

KCPA is a non-profit organization dedicated to helping the children of workplace accident victims pursue their education dreams. They provide scholarship grants for college and vocational education to the children of Pennsylvania workers killed or seriously injured in work-related accidents. Since its inception in 1997, the organization has awarded more than 900 scholarships totaling more than $2 million.

In addition to teaming with KCPA, Pond Lehocky founding partner Jerry Lehocky currently serves as a member of the board of directors.

Lehocky is a founding partner of Pond Lehocky. A 1985 graduate of Temple University School of Law, he has been a litigator of workers’ compensation and Social Security disability since being admitted to practice. Initially, he represented employers and insurance companies. However, since 1991, he has represented claimants exclusively. He is currently serving a three-year term as a member of the Disciplinary Board of the Pennsylvania Supreme Court. He is also a former president of the Pennsylvania Association for Justice, the first workers’ compensation attorney to hold that position.
