As the holiday season winds down and 2018 draws to a close, Pond Lehocky Stern Giordano’s partners pause to thank the staff and attorneys that made this a highly successful year.
“We’ve had another year of growth and are healthy in our mindset, in our purpose, in our belief and in our bottom-line. We can only do this because of YOU—people who believe in the purpose of their daily work and are committed to our mission,” Managing Partner Sam Pond tells the staff.
“I want to thank each and every one of you for making our firm the envy of all other work comp and Social Security practices,” Partner Jerry Lehocky says. Partner Dave Stern adds, “I want to personally thank each and every one of you for your commitment to our mission in 2018.”
“I mean it from the bottom of my heart- thank you for your hard work and dedication to Pond Lehocky Stern Giordano. We don’t always say it, but I promise you that we truly believe it,” Partner Tom Giordano says. “We know that any success we have achieved as a Firm is because of you.”
The Partners all noted the difficult situations the Firm’s clients face when they turn to it for help.
“We all have problems in our lives. Some are big, and most are small,” Partner Tom Giordano says. “They don’t always seem small at the time, but if you stop and think about what our clients are going through, it hopefully puts your problem into proper perspective.”
“Our clients are literally beaten, broken and are looking for champions to bring it every day in the ring of workers’ compensation, Social Security disability, employment and long-term disability, and to understand that our foe is an evil, heartless, soulless enemy,” Pond adds.
It is the staff’s professionalism in tackling clients’ toughest problems that draws the Partners highest praise.
“I know you all work very hard each and every day for those individuals who are in very bad situations,” Lehocky tells the staff. “I know they are very deeply grateful to have an empathetic and passionate advocate on the line when they call. Please know that your efforts mean the world to them and us.”
“I have the great privilege of working with and learning form tremendous people doing tremendous things,” newest Partner Steve Miller says. ” Not a day passes that I’m not humbled by the compassion a staff member exhibits to a client in a tight spot or inspired by an attorney who refuses to back down from a fight.”
“You make a difference in the lives of so many. I know many days are demanding and stressful. However not a day goes by where a client does not tell me how wonderful our team is,” Stern tells the staff. “Although it may not always feel like those that you are helping are appreciative, I can tell you they hang up the phone and recognize in their hearts that you care about them.”
“In representing our clients, we must be trial advocates, and we need to be fighters- that is the bottom line,” Pond says. “I can stress enough how much I believe in our fighting, our advocacy skills, using every resource at our disposal to win for our clients.”
