Sam Pond featured in an exclusive NBC10 News report

NBC10 Philadelphia, WCAU-TV, featured Samuel H. Pond, Esq. in an exclusive news report on Thursday, February 11. The news story highlighted the struggles families of front-line essential workers are facing as the city continues to deny Workers’ Compensation death benefits.

NBC reports that “to even be considered for the line-of-duty death benefits, a family must know to apply. And then, it’s a tough threshold to meet.” The station reached out to Pond Lehocky’s Founding and Managing Partner Sam Pond, an expert in Workers’ Compensation and is personally representing families of deceased city employees.

“Unless the injury is obvious or the death is obvious, you then have to be able to prove that the death was caused by the employment,” said Pond. “You will fight tooth and nail.”
