Sam Pond returns to NE Philly roots to award 25th Marie Pond Scholarship and receive President’s Award

Managing Partner Sam Pond awarded two high school seniors with the 25^th annual Marie Pond Scholarship and was honored with the President’s Award at the Torresdale Boys Club’s Annual Awards Banquet on Friday, May 8, 2015.

The Marie Pond Scholarship was created in memory of Sam’s mother to further the education of deserving members of the Torresdale Boys Club, which holds a special place in his family’s heart. Sam spent his childhood playing for the Torresdale Boys Club. “Those were some of the best years of my life,” Sam said at his speech Friday night.
