Samuel H. Pond shares tips for business leaders exclusively with Authority Magazine and Medium.com

Authority Magazine (Medium.com) exclusively featured Pond Lehocky Giordano’s Managing and Founding Partner, Samuel H. Pond, Esq., on being a leader in the legal industry. The article, Samuel H. Pond of Pond Lehocky Giordano: 5 Things I wish Someone Told Me Before I Began Leading My Company shares valuable advice to other leaders to embody as they grow in their leadership roles.

Referring to his leadership style, Pond shares, “leadership requires hard decisions, but you have to balance that with empathy and understanding while putting yourself in others’ shoes.”

Pond grew up in the Northeast Philadelphia neighborhood and was proudly raised by blue-collar parents. After his mother and father both passed due to complications from work injuries, Pond was inspired to become a trial lawyer and fight for hard-working Americans like his parents who deserve benefits if injured while at work or become disabled.

“If you want to be the best, making hard decisions needs to be happen, and many times, those hard decisions are about people,” Pond shared. “In this very competitive space and time, as a leader you also have to embrace change. If you’re not willing to embrace change and evolve, you will be left behind.”
