This President’s Day, Pond Lehocky reflects on fear

Pond Lehocky Giordano continues to fight for the injured and disabled. On this President’s Day, we honor President Franklin D. Roosevelt for his leadership and the lessons he taught all of us about getting in the ring and not allowing fear to dictate our actions.

Managing Partner, Samuel H. Pond, Esq., recently quoted FDR in his podcast while discussing Social Security disability. “He said that great statement of ‘we have nothing to fear but fear itself.’ That should be said more often, I hate to have people live in fear,” Pond said.

It was under Roosevelt’s administration that the Citizen’s Funded Social Program, now more commonly known as Social Security Administration, was created.

“It is very important to understand the expectations and the idea of whether or not you have a success at the initial application,” Pond explained. “We set clear expectations with our clients and explain the process.”

We will always be in the corner of the injured and disabled worker and are proud to have role models like FDR to aspire to this President’s Day and every day.
