Veteran workers’ comp attorney joins Pond Lehocky

Pond Lehocky Giordano welcomes Erica M. Wicas as a workers’ compensation associate.

She has experience on the defense side of workers’ compensation matters. Her extensive knowledge of how employers and insurers handle claims make them uniquely qualified to now focus on protecting workers’ rights.

Prior to joining Pond Lehocky, Ms. Wicas was an associate in the Philadelphia office of a large regional defense firm, representing employers and insurance carriers in workers’ compensation matters.

She earned a J.D. from Rutgers School of Law in 2013 and a B.A. in English from the University of Pennsylvania in 2010. While attending law school, she was a research team member of the Pro Bono Research Project.  In addition, she interned at the Alaska Department of Law, Attorney General’s Office, in the Torts and Workers’ Compensation Section.  She also interned for the Honorable Michael Spaan of the Alaska Superior Court.

She is a member of the American Bar Association and has been selected to serve as the Social Media and Technology Vice-Chair of the ABA Tort Trial and Insurance Section’s Workers’ Compensation Committee. She is admitted to practice in Pennsylvania and New Jersey.

Ms. Wicas will work out of Pond Lehocky’s Center City Philadelphia headquarters.
