Julie Wieczorek Fritsch is an associate attorney at Pond Lehocky, practicing out of the firm’s Pittsburgh office. She concentrates her practice on workers’ compensation. She is certified as a Workers’ Compensation Law Specialist by the Pennsylvania Bar Association, as authorized by the Pennsylvania Supreme Court.
Ms. Fritsch is licensed to practice in both Pennsylvania and West Virginia. With more than 20 years of experience, Ms. Fritsch has represented clients in state and federal courts at the administrative, trial and appellate levels. She is also accredited by the U.S. Department of Veterans Affairs (VA) to represent veterans with claims for disability benefits before the VA.
Before joining Pond Lehocky, Ms. Fritsch was a partner at a Pittsburgh law firm where she represented claimants and plaintiffs in workers’ compensation, personal injury, and veterans’ and Social Security disability matters. Prior to that, she completed a judicial clerkship with the Honorable Jolene Grubb Kopriva of Blair County, Pennsylvania.
Ms. Fritsch has been named a Rising Star by Pennsylvania Super Lawyers® in 2010 and 2013 through 2016. She is a member of the Pennsylvania Bar Association where she serves on the Workers’ Compensation Council, and the Allegheny County Bar Association where she is an officer for the Workers’ Compensation Section. She also serves on the Board of Directors for two non-profit organizations, the Hampton Athletic Association and Passion Softball. In 2021, she was elected to Council for Hampton Township, Pennsylvania.
Ms. Fritsch graduated with a B.A. in political science from Pennsylvania State University – Behrend College and received her J.D. from the University of Pittsburgh School of Law.
