Pond Lehocky founding partner Jerry Lehocky thanked teachers during Facebook Live on National Teacher Appreciation Day

In celebrating National Teacher Appreciation Day and Week, Pond Lehocky’s founding partner Jerry Lehocky thanked our nation’s educators while thousands of viewers joined the Facebook Live Q&A video. Lehocky answered people’s legal questions in real time about the pandemic, returning to work and their employee rights.

 “I want to give a huge shout out and heartfelt thank you to all the teachers out there who, over the last several weeks, have had to adapt to teaching remotely for our children to continue their education, despite the crazy times we are experiencing,” Lehocky opened his livestream with. “On behalf of the firm, we want to give a huge thank you to all the teachers out there.” 

Since the outbreak of COVID-19, the law firm has been helping thousands of Americans understand their rights and fight for the frontline heroes, hosting Facebook Live video sessions to chat with clients and provide legal help and hope during these challenging times. Tuesday morning’s Q&A can be viewed here 

Questions poured in during the 35-minute livestream, which ranged from workers’ rights as the economy begins to reopen, legislation for frontline workers, what qualifies for workers’ compensationsand other employment law and legal matters. Pond Lehocky is hosting another Facebook Live Q&A with managing partner Samuel H. Pond, Esq., on Tuesday, May 12, at 10:00 a.m.   

“I look forward to creating a class that enhances the student experience and provides some tools for being very good trial lawyers,” Lehocky shared before the semester and pandemic began.
