Pond Lehocky is proud to announce most attorneys certified as workers’ compensation legal specialists in the state

Associates Kevin E. Harchar and Christopher C. Cara are the most recent Pond Lehocky attorneys to be certified as legal specialists in workers’ compensation law, marking 9 attorneys at the firm who are now certified as legal specialists in workers’ compensation law—the most in the state. This certification is administered by the Pennsylvania Bar Association’s Section on Workers’ Compensation Law as authorized by the Pennsylvania Supreme Court.

Obtaining this certification requires various aspects of an attorney’s practice to be evaluated, including dedication to workers’ compensation and years of experience, and the process requires attorneys to take a formal examination. Chris Cara has been with Pond Lehocky since 2012 and has dedicated his career to representing injured workers. Kevin Harchar, who is based in Pond Lehocky’s Scranton office, has been practicing workers’ compensation law for 9 years and previously worked at a prominent Scranton, PA law firm, where he handled all aspects of workers’ compensation claims.

Founded in 1895, the Pennsylvania Bar Association strives to promote justice, professional excellence and respect for the law; improve public understanding of the legal system; facilitate access to legal services; and serve the 27,000 lawyers who are members of the association.

Kevin and Chris join the 7 other associates certified in workers’ compensation at Pond Lehocky Stern Giordano:
